    Coordinator Digital Platforms (Mobile Advertising)

    Job Summary

    • Coordinate the implementation of mobile advertising strategies and maintaining a portfolio of advertising inventory to deliver on the brand promise. 
    • This role’s key performance areas include but not limited to:
    • Product - Manage existing inventory (e.g., SMS) and deliver new inventory to grow the portfolio.
    • Targeting - Improve the quality and number of data points available to target customers on the advertising inventory.
    • Reporting - Produce monthly reports on the performance of the various inventories.

    Key Task:

    • Coordinate the process of developing existing and new Mobile Advertising Channels across the business touch points that is required to deliver on the agreed KPIs and revenue
    • Development of segments for enhanced targeting to increase the value of MTN inventor.
    • Ensure advertising space is optimized and sold at the correct price.
    • Develop concept documents and or sign off documents for approval and manage the end to end go live of various mobile Ad initiative.
    • Promote MTN products as well as 3rd party products and services through this channel.
    • Ensure advertising is relevant, targeted, and timeous based on data insight.
    • Assist in driving mobile Advertising Channel space for all customer touch points available and ensure effective execution of tactical plan.
    • Create and monitor plan for continuous improvement of channel performance in line with customer feedbacks and market insight.
    • Review performance against agreed KPIs and compliance to SLAs for vendor
    • Provide the needed support to the sales teams by providing information to pitch the mobile advertising proposition to potential clients of channel as well as Coach Connect store agents to deliver on the expected customer experience.
    • Ensure subscribers receive advertisements through the appropriate channels (SMS, Push message, end of call notification, smart messaging, end of SMS account recharge, Browser and Mobi advertisements, etc. in alignment with Regulators guideline
    • Continuous monitoring and evaluation of channel performance in line with customer feedbacks and market insight.
    • Provide report daily, weekly, monthly and on an ad hoc basis on specific mobile advertising projects as and when require.
    • Lead all User Acceptance Tests (UAT) for all Mobile Ad Channels and changes, ensuring all scenarios are defined and test.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by Line Manager

    Education:

    • A University Degree in marketing or a related fi
    • Scrum Master (PSM) / Agile Coach certification is an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.

    Professional/Technical Competence:

    • Good knowledge of digital advertising platforms and technologies, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and programmatic advertising.
    • Experience with tracking and analyzing advertising performance metrics, such as click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
    • Familiarity with audience targeting and segmentation techniques.
    • Understanding of digital marketing strategy and campaign planning.
    • Experience with A/B testing and optimization techniques.
    • Basic Product and Project management experience.
    • Good Telecommunications industry knowledge.
