Finance Intern at Christian Aid

About the role

The Finance Intern will assist the Finance Assistant by inputting financial data in an efficient, accurate and timely manner. In this position, the intern will get a hands-on opportunity to further develop their skills and gain knowledge necessary for a successful career in Finance function. Specific areas of focus will be in documentation and filling, maintenance of basic accounting records including cash and bank books, petty cash reimbursements, advances and staff floats. 

About you

• Background in Finance and Accounting with a strong eagerness to learn and work in Finance.  An undergraduate degree is desirable.
• Experience of using computerised financial reporting tools and use of Excel will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills; great attention to detail
• Self- Motivated and ability to multitask in fast paced environment
