Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level involves: -

• Interpretation of the Architects sketches and turning them into finished drawings, outline scheme,
• Design drawings preparation of specification notes and schedules for all types of buildings;
• Ensuring that Engineering and other specialists’ drawings conform to the Architects’ drawings;
• Measurement and preparation of drawing of existing buildings and sites.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

• Served in the grade of Architectural Assistant III or in a comparable and relevant position in the Public Service for at least three (3) years;
• Diploma or Technician Certificate Part II] in any of the following disciplines: Building/Civil Engineering, Architecture, or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution; and
• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
