    Commercial Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    Revenue Growth & Customer Acquisition

    • Drive Month-over-Month (MoM) growth in customer base and revenue.
    • Develop and execute strategies to increase B2B customer acquisition, securing new retail, restaurant, and institutional clients.
    • Optimize pricing models and sales strategies to enhance profitability and maximize customer lifetime value.
    • Ensure a high customer retention rate (≥85%) through engagement and superior service delivery.

    Market Expansion & Distribution

    • Lead new market penetration efforts, expanding Markiti and Keep It Cool into targeted regions and cities.
    • Build and strengthen strategic distribution partnerships with retailers, supermarkets, hotels, and institutional buyers.
    • Oversee the expansion and operational efficiency of cold chain hubs across Kenya to support Keep It Cool’s growth.

    Strategic Partnerships & Business Development

    • Establish and nurture key partnerships to drive growth in distribution, logistics, and sales.
    • Collaborate with investors and stakeholders, ensuring timely and data-driven reporting on business performance.
    • Identify and develop new revenue streams, including value-added products (e.g., frozen meals).

    Customer & Brand Management

    • Ensure a Customer Satisfaction Score (CSAT) of ≥8/10 through strong relationship management and service improvements.
    • Maintain a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 70+, fostering strong brand advocacy.
    • Oversee marketing campaigns, brand positioning, and digital growth strategies to drive engagement and visibility.
    • Enhance e-commerce sales through digital platforms and targeted promotional strategies.

    Leadership & Team Development

    • Lead and mentor the marketing team and 4 regional business development leads, aligning their efforts with strategic objectives.
    • Implement performance-driven KPIs and ensure accountability across teams.
    • Foster a results-oriented, high-performance culture with clear goals and structured execution plans.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • MoM Growth in Customer Base & Revenue – Achieve consistent Month-over-Month increases in sales and customer acquisition.
    • Market Expansion Success – Successfully enter and establish a presence in new regions/cities per strategic plan.
    • Strategic Partnerships Secured – Increase high-value partnerships with distributors, retailers, and institutional buyers.
    • Customer Satisfaction & Retention – Maintain CSAT ≥8/10 and NPS ≥70 while achieving a B2B retention rate of ≥85%.
