Head of Hardware Section at Pergamon Group Ltd

Reporting to the Technical Manager, the individual will be responsible for: 

• Handling complex electronic repairs through component-level troubleshooting, soldering, and calibration
• Managing team escalations and performing level 3 repairs
• Maintaining accurate service logs, repair reports, and parts inventory
• Executing firmware/BIOS recovery, bootloader fixes, and basic data recovery, where applicable
• Providing technical support and communicating effectively with clients regarding diagnosis, repair processes, and timelines
• Coordinating team activities and supporting daily duty allocation
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills
• Developing and mentoring junior team members

Requirements 

• KNEC Diploma or Higher National Diploma in Electrical and Electronics or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years' proven experience in motherboard/component-level repairs
• Proficiency in hardware troubleshooting, soldering, and use of rework stations
• Ability to read and interpret board schematics and circuit diagrams
• Familiarity with BIOS/UEFI repair tools, flashing tools, and testing software
• Strong attention to detail, good documentation skills, and the ability to work independently
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities
• Networking skills will be an added advantage
