Human Resource Officer at Swissport

We are looking for a Human Resource Officer to join our team in Nairobi. In this role, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to the business, delivering HR solutions that align with strategy, foster a high-performance culture, and support employee growth.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with leaders to align HR strategy with business goals.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, and talent management initiatives.
• Embed a performance-driven culture and support appraisal processes.
• Manage employee relations, ensuring compliance with labour laws.
• Support HR audits, surveys, and staff engagement activities.
• Oversee leave management and HR administration.
• Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
• Prepare HR data reports and insights for decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in business or social sciences.
• Higher Diploma in HR Management or CHRP
• Member of IHRM(K)
• At least 5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Sound knowledge of labour legislation.
• Proficiency in HRMIS and MS Office tools.
• Integrity, attention to detail, and commercial awareness.
