Junior Developer at Indepth Research Services (IRES)

The Junior Developer will contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. The role involves writing clean code, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the team in building scalable, high-quality solutions. We are looking for a motivated individual with a solid foundation in modern web technologies, a willingness to learn, and the ability to collaborate closely with senior developers. Key responsibilities:

• Write clean, maintainable code to implement features and fix bugs.
• Support senior developers in the design, testing, and maintenance of applications.
• Learn and apply best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies.
• Participate actively in team discussions, stand-ups, and code reviews.
• Document code clearly and provide regular progress updates.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, ICTM, BBIT, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of work experience in IT or software development.
• Proficient in PHP and JavaScript programming Languages.
• Hands-on experience with Laravel and Vue.js frameworks.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and integration practices.
• Skilled in HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
• Skilled in Git & GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines for automation and deployment workflows.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms.
• Solid knowledge of MySQL databases and database management.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and creative approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Growth mindset, eager to learn, and adaptable to new development technologies.
• Desirable Experience working with WordPress or Drupal CMS.
