    National Consultant (Asset Management Expert)

    • The overall purpose of the assignment for this consult will be to provide support to NPS College Main Campus in Kiganjo administration, leadership, and various departments in the management of assets.
    • This assignment is to review the current system in place for asset management, compile and report on assessment and necessary systems on assets management, for full compliance of administrative management and inventory ensuring that proper asset management is performed in adherence with international best practices and in accordance with to national rules, regulations, policies and strategies and that inventory procedures are complied within the college’s operations and daily functioning

    Qualifications/special skills

    • An advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in asset management, finance, engineering, business administration, public administration, or a closely related field is required.
    • A first-level university degree in a similar discipline, combined with two additional years of relevant professional experience, may be accepted in lieu of the advanced degree.
    • A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in asset management, infrastructure planning, facilities management, or a related area is required
    • Proven ability to assess and analyze complex systems and data, identify trends and risks, and formulate evidence-based recommendations is required
    • Strong technical expertise in the principles, methodologies, and best practices of strategic asset management is required Proficiency in asset information systems, inventory management, enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools, and other relevant digital platforms is required
    • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and adapt language, tone, and style to diverse audiences, are desirable
    • Experience delivering training, facilitating technical workshops, or advising public sector institutions or international organizations on asset management strategies is desirable
