Supervisor – Operational Efficiency Project Portfolio at Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)

Job Summary

The jobholder shall be responsible for delivering strategic digital transformation projects. The persons’ focus shall be day-to-day project handling at all phases of projects, from conception to impact evaluation. 

Duties and responsibilities

• Manage documentation, schedule meetings, prepare reports and maintain project records.
• Monitor, report, and track project progress, milestones, and deliverables, and generate status updates.
• Identify potential projects risks or issues and develop solutions or mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate and manage key project stakeholders and ensure day to day smooth running of the projects.

Person specifications

For appointment to this job, the candidate must have:

• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
• Familiarity with IT systems, data management, business process improvements or customer experience processes is desirable.
• Training in Project Management (e.g., CAPM, PRINCE2, PMP) and relevant IT certification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar role.
