    Lecturer Statistics

    Minimum Requirements 

    • Must have a PhD or its equivalent in Statistics
    • Should have evidence of administration experience;
    • Should be proficient in computer packages;
    • Must have at least three (3) years teaching experience at University level;
    • Must have published at least two articles in referred journals or one university level textbook or two (2) book chapters.

    Job Responsibilities 

    • Participate in curriculum development and review;
    • To actively participate in Department/Faculty/University community service activities;
    • To attend and effectively participate in Departmental, Faculty and University meetings and functions;
    • To be committed to continuous improvement of the Department and Faculty. 
    • To ensure regular and punctual attendance of classes using biometric readers to aid in time management and ensure the same with students;
    • To ensure regular review of his/her courses in conformity with quality assurance reports and emerging international best practice;
    • To ensure timeliness for appropriate reporting, entry and submission of evaluation and marks on time as per schedule;

    Associate Professor - Law

    Minimum Requirements 

    • PhD or equivalent Academic Doctoral Degree;
    • Must be a mature scholar, evidenced by five articles in refereed journals, or the equivalent since promotion to Senior Lecturer;
    • Four presentations at national or international conferences;
    • Evidence of conribution to excellence in teaching and three years university teaching experience since promotion to Senior Lecturer;
    • Supervision of five master's theses and/or doctoral dissertations;

    Job Responsibilities 

    • Strictly observe the policies of the Faculty and/or University in line with the University vision, mission and strategic direction;
    • To actively participate in Department/Faculty/ University community service activities;
    • To actively participate in internal and external seminars and present reports of research activities in the seminars;
    • To attend and effectively participate in the following meetings: • DAB/DEB • FAB/FEB • Student assemblies. • Any ad hoc Meetings called by the Department, Faculty and University.

    Senior Lecturer - Law

    Minimum Requirements 

    • PhD or equivalent academic doctoral degree
    • Must have three articles in refereed journals, or the equivalent, since promotion to Lecturer;
    • Supervision of four master’s theses;
    • At least two presentations at national or international conferences;
    • Evidence of contribution to excellence in teaching and three years university teaching experience since promotion to Lecturer;
    • Must be a mature person with high degree of integrity and moral standards;
    • Must be able to work under minimum supervision;
    • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
    • Ability to guide, counsel and mentor students.

    ICT Support Officer

    Minimum Requirements 

    • BSc Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent from a recognzied institution;
    • Must be CCNA certified or equivalent certification;

    Systems Developer

    Minimum Requirements 

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT
    • Certification in Microsoft Dynamics Navision;
    • Experience with Microsoft NAV 2013 or later;
