Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Carpenter at Brookhill Projects Limited, located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. Day-to-day tasks may include measuring, cutting, and shaping wood with hand tools, power tools, and various woodworking machinery. The Carpenter will also be responsible for framing, finish carpentry work, and ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Site Manager

• What You’ll Do: Oversee on-site operations, manage daily construction activities, and ensure safety and compliance standards are upheld. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact between site workers, contractors, and project managers.
• You Are: A natural leader with exceptional communication skills, able to give clear instructions, resolve on-site issues promptly, and keep the team motivated. You ensure everyone is informed and aligned, from workers to upper management.

Key Responsibilities

• Establishes operational objectives and work plans, and delegates assignments to subordinate managers.
• Reviews objectives to determine the success of projects and operations.
• Develops, modifies, and executes construction policies that affect immediate operations and may have company-wide effects.
• Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
• Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.
• Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design, and/or construction management activities and personnel under the individual direction on a day-to-day basis.

Key Requirements

• Minimum four(4) years experience in a managerial or supervisory position
• Proven working experience handling projects through a complete life cycle.
• Proven management experience in concurrently running projects and teams.
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards

This is a full-time role for an Aluminium and Glass Technician at Brookhill Projects Limited. The role is on-site and is located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Aluminium and Glass Technician will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and repairing aluminum and glass structures. Day-to-day tasks will include measuring and cutting materials, assembling and installing windows and doors, ensuring all installations meet safety and quality standards, and maintaining tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Aluminium Fabrication, Glass Cutting, and Installation
• Skills in Measuring, Cutting, and Assembling materials
• Familiarity with Quality Control and Safety Procedures
• Handiness with Tools and Equipment Maintenance
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Vocational training or technical education in related fields is a plus
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
