About the role:
- Under the supervision of the Associate Manager, the Intern will assist the Operations Team by performing a variety of standard administrative processes to ensure consistent service delivery as per assigned KPIs. This will include but not limited to Procurement, Inbound Logistics, Outbound Logistics and Warehouse Operations.
What you would be expected to do:
Provide administrative assistance for Procurement by;
- Updating the Procurement tracker
- Receiving and verifying invoices
- Ensure that the products and supplies are as per specifications
- Maintain an up-to-date supplier database
- Raising of all invoices
- Ensuring the Vendor KYC documents are up to date
- Assist procurement processes including preparation of RFQ, ITB/RFP documents and subsequent receipt and evaluation of quotations, bids or proposals.
Provide administrative assistance to Imports by:
- Updating all trackers including goods in transit and warehouse receipts
- Receiving and verifying 3PL invoices
- Raising all shipment related invoices on time
- Drafting of exemption letters
- Raising payments
- Updating the shipment folders
Provide administrative assistance to Exports by:
- Updating all trackers including the exports tracker
- Raising invoices
- Tabulation of the costs per consignment in GRN process
- Processing courier (DHL & FedEx) invoices

The role holder will focus on three key aspects of Last Mile Distribution. The first will be to conduct last mile service task that include delivery and exchange of LPG cooking equipment. Second, the depot executive will be identifying, onboarding, training and auditing staff and independent contractors to support a great last mile customer experience. Third, the executive will be accountable for all stock movements in and out of the depot.
What you would be expected to do:
Last mile task completion
- Conduct customer installations, cylinder exchange, meter exchanges and in house service events
- Ensure people and transport are available to complete deliveries
- Regular audits of completed events and inspections to identify and address any issues or discrepancies promptly
Last Mile team management
- Onboard and train last mile staff and independent contractors

What you would be expected to do:
Last mile task completion
