    Manager, UX/UI

    About The Job

    Job Summary

    • This role is responsible for leading the design and testing of the User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) of all MTN Digital Channels. 
    • This includes supporting the various product owners with UX/UI design and testing in collaboration with external agencies. 
    • In addition, this role will be responsible for testing the experiences (pre and post launch) with real customers to gather first-hand feedback as part of the design thinking development cycle.

    Key Tasks:

    • Collaborate daily with product managers, UX/UI agency and software developers to define, design and provide guidance on the respective contents, layout or marketing materials required to deliver digital products.
    • Carrying out user research (Desk- based or field) for all digital channels/products to get a full picture of the target audience for whom the channel is intended.
    • Deliver new designs or experiences to be implemented in digital products that ultimately grow the engagement of the product.
    • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, and process flows.
    • Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how digital products should function and look like
    • Set experiential quality metrics and evolve interaction guidelines to unify the customer experience across channels.
    • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems and work with necessary stakeholders for solution.
    • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
    • Follow market trends and introduce best practices and standards.
    • Measure and report the performance of UX/UI changes.
    • Conduct user tests with customers new and existing UX designs.
    • Document user journeys and UX /UI processes for reference.

    Education:

    • First Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/ Design or relevant field
    • Scrum Master (PSM) / Agile Coach certification is an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience as a UX/UI Designer or Manager
    • Experience required is preferably in a digital company, agency or with a digital team.

    Professional/Technical competencies:

    • Knowledge of current digital design trends.
    • Knowledge of wireframe tools and design software (e.g., Figma, Photoshop, Adobe illustrator)
    • Knowledge of how to identify UX potential issues using digital analytics tools.
    • Ability to conduct user research and gather feedback.

    Coordinator Digital Platforms (Mobile Advertising)

    Job Summary

    • Coordinate the implementation of mobile advertising strategies and maintaining a portfolio of advertising inventory to deliver on the brand promise. 
    • This role’s key performance areas include but not limited to:
    • Product - Manage existing inventory (e.g., SMS) and deliver new inventory to grow the portfolio.
    • Targeting - Improve the quality and number of data points available to target customers on the advertising inventory.
    • Reporting - Produce monthly reports on the performance of the various inventories.

    Key Task:

    • Coordinate the process of developing existing and new Mobile Advertising Channels across the business touch points that is required to deliver on the agreed KPIs and revenue
    • Development of segments for enhanced targeting to increase the value of MTN inventor.
    • Ensure advertising space is optimized and sold at the correct price.
    • Develop concept documents and or sign off documents for approval and manage the end to end go live of various mobile Ad initiative.
    • Promote MTN products as well as 3rd party products and services through this channel.
    • Ensure advertising is relevant, targeted, and timeous based on data insight.
    • Assist in driving mobile Advertising Channel space for all customer touch points available and ensure effective execution of tactical plan.
    • Create and monitor plan for continuous improvement of channel performance in line with customer feedbacks and market insight.
    • Review performance against agreed KPIs and compliance to SLAs for vendor
    • Provide the needed support to the sales teams by providing information to pitch the mobile advertising proposition to potential clients of channel as well as Coach Connect store agents to deliver on the expected customer experience.
    • Ensure subscribers receive advertisements through the appropriate channels (SMS, Push message, end of call notification, smart messaging, end of SMS account recharge, Browser and Mobi advertisements, etc. in alignment with Regulators guideline
    • Continuous monitoring and evaluation of channel performance in line with customer feedbacks and market insight.
    • Provide report daily, weekly, monthly and on an ad hoc basis on specific mobile advertising projects as and when require.
    • Lead all User Acceptance Tests (UAT) for all Mobile Ad Channels and changes, ensuring all scenarios are defined and test.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by Line Manager

    Education:

    • A University Degree in marketing or a related fi
    • Scrum Master (PSM) / Agile Coach certification is an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.

    Professional/Technical Competence:

    • Good knowledge of digital advertising platforms and technologies, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and programmatic advertising.
    • Experience with tracking and analyzing advertising performance metrics, such as click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
    • Familiarity with audience targeting and segmentation techniques.
    • Understanding of digital marketing strategy and campaign planning.
    • Experience with A/B testing and optimization techniques.
    • Basic Product and Project management experience.
