    Stock Controller

    Job Summary:

    Our client in the automotive spare parts industry is seeking to hire a Stock Controller. The role is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring timely stock replenishment, and minimizing variances. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting smooth operations, effective stock control processes, and customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities

    Inventory Management:

    • Maintain accurate stock records for all automotive spare parts using the inventory management system.
    • Monitor stock levels and initiate timely reorders to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
    • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock deliveries against purchase orders.

    Stock Audits & Reporting

    • Conduct regular stock counts and audits (daily, weekly, monthly, or as needed).
    • Reconcile physical stock with system records and prepare audit reports.
    • Investigate and report stock variances, damages, or losses promptly.

    Stockroom Organization & Housekeeping

    • Ensure all stock is properly labelled, shelved, and organized for easy access.
    • Maintain cleanliness of stockrooms in line with health and safety standards.
    • Offload stock items from the warehouse and arrange them on respective shelves.

    Controls & Process Improvement

    • Keep proper records of items taken as samples and ensure timely returns.
    • Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and suggest corrective actions.
    • Assist in implementing and improving inventory control procedures and systems.

    Requirements & Qualifications:

    • Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum 2 years experience in stock control/warehouse management, preferably in an automotive parts business or retail/wholesale environment.
    • Proficiency in inventory management systems/software.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Good organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • High level of integrity and accountability.

    Junior Quantity Surveyor

    Job Summary:

    Our client, a construction company, is seeking to hire a Junior Quantity Surveyor to support their projects team. The successful candidate will assist in cost estimation, tendering, contract administration, and site measurements. This role is ideal for an entry-level professional looking to grow their career in construction project management and quantity surveying.

    Key Responsibilities

    Tendering & Bidding Support

    • Assist the tendering team in preparing competitive bid documents.
    • Compile Bill of Quantities, drawings, and specifications for tender submissions.
    • Collect and analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations.
    • Ensure all tender documentation is complete and submitted on time.

    Contract Administration:

    • Assist in preparing interim payment certificates and final accounts.
    • Support contract documentation and ensure compliance with terms.
    • Monitor project costs against budgets.

    Site Measurements & Valuations:

    • Carry out site visits and take accurate measurements.
    • Assist in preparing site reports and valuations.
    • Support site teams in verifying work done for payment purposes.

    Project Support:

    • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants as required.

    Requirements & Qualifications:

    • Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
    • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or QS software is an added advantage.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Keen attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
