    Hospital Administrator

    We are seeking to attract an interested and qualified candidate to fill the following position:

    Overall Responsibility

    1. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Hospital, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, optimizing operational efficiency, and managing departmental budgets. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.
    2. Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and patient care.
    3. Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including clinical and administrative staff.
    4. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes professional growth and high morale.
    5. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement staff development programs.
    6. Develop and manage the facility’s budget, including revenue and expense forecasting.
    7. Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
    8. Participate in the formulation and implementation of the Hospital’s strategic plan.
    9. Optimize resource utilization to achieve financial and operational goals.
    10. Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care at all the service points.
    11. Implement quality assurance programs to monitor and improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
    12. Address patient complaints and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
    13. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic plans for the facility.
    14. Identify opportunities for service expansion, process improvements, and new program development.
    15. Represent the hospital in community events, professional organizations, and public forums.
    16. Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, referral sources, and other healthcare providers.
    17. Promote the Hospital’s services through marketing and public relations initiatives.

    Job Qualifications & Skills

    1. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or any related field.
    2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare administration
    3. Proven track record of successful leadership and management in a healthcare setting.
    4. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality assurance practices.
    5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    6. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

    Perioperative Nurse - 2 Positions

    • We are seeking to attract interested and qualified candidates to fill the following positions:

    Overall Responsibility

    • To provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures through all perioperative phases. The Perioperative Nurse ensures patient safety, upholds infection prevention standards, and collaborates with the surgical team to achieve optimal outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Pre-Operative Phase

    • Conduct thorough assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
    • Ensure all pre-operative documentation and consent forms are completed.
    • Provide emotional support and health education to patients and families.
    • Coordinate with the surgical team for patient-specific preparation and planning.

    Intra-Operative Phase

    • Prepare and maintain the sterile field and ensure adherence to aseptic techniques.
    • Function as a scrub nurse or circulating nurse during surgery.
    • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and pass instruments efficiently.
    • Monitor the patient’s condition and vital signs during procedures.
    • Perform instrument, sponge, and sharps counts to maintain safety.

    Post-Operative Phase

    • Receive and monitor patients in the recovery room.
    • Manage post-operative pain, bleeding, and other complications.
    • Document care provided and communicate effectively with relevant departments.
    • Educate patients and caregivers on post-operative care and discharge plans.

    Job Qualifications & Skills

    • Kenya Registered Nurse or equivalent basic nursing qualification.
    • Higher Diploma in Perioperative Nursing from a recognized institution (mandatory).
    • Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya and holding a valid practice license.
    • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
