    Technical Support Professional – Database Specialist

    Your Role and Responsibilities

    • Automate, administer, manage, run and make reliable, trustworthy and dependable the processing of all production databases.
    • Monitoring operational performance and optimizing SQL in a large and dynamic enterprise
    • Working with developers on database design to ensure high-performance and scalability;
    • Controlling access permissions and privileges (where applicable);
    • Developing, managing and testing back-up and recovery plans;
    • Installing and testing new versions of the DBMS;
    • Capacity planning;
    • Ensuring that storage, archiving, back-up and recovery procedures are functioning correctly;
    • Logging of Incidents and resolution of all assigned tickets in Incident Management System.
    • Writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary (metadata);
    • Communicating regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security;
    • Patching of all Production, Test and DR Databases as per schedule agreed with Customer.
    • Provide the needed leadership and support in the Implementation of Changes and New Projects.
    • Provide the needed support with the creation of RCAs as part of Incident/Problem Management.
    • Collaborating with GDC to manage the Entire Database and Middleware Estate.
    • Take ownership of performance and capacity monitoring aspects of the Database
    • Assist the infrastructure team in sizing hardware used for Databases
    • Ensure SLAs & Operational KPI are met
    • Work as necessary with internal and external support functions where major incidents occur.
    • Attending and contributing to team and project meetings
    • Contributing to the improvement or standard procedures and documentation

    Required Technical and Professional Expertise

    • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant program – additional Certifications a plus.
    • Minimum 5+ years of Oracle, SQL, Mongo DB administration experience.
    • Must possess in-depth knowledge of Mongo DB and Oracle RDBMS configuration and strong troubleshooting skills.
    • Strong analytical skills– the ability to assist in resolving various systems issues for multiple integrated locations and systems.
    • Understand various OS, network and storage technology.
    • Interest/understanding of Hadoop based data management technologies is a plus
    • Experience with multi-dimensional datasets, OLAP cubes, and MDX queries is a plus but not required
    • Ability to deploy, monitor, maintain, develop, upgrade, and support databases and database servers.
    • Time management and organizational skills are imperative.
    • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with all levels of management and personnel.

    Technical Support Professional – Network and Security Specialist

    Your Role and Responsibilities

    • Serve as a subject matter expert in supporting F5 load balancers with Big-IP LTM & ASM
    • Perform daily operational tasks submitted by customers
    • Install, configure, and maintain network device hardware and software
    • Prepare network or infrastructure Visio topology diagrams, write Standard Operating Procedures, maintenance plans and provide status reports as required, participate in data calls and other operational and maintenance tasks
    • Troubleshoot network problems, network device configurations and coordinate with various department administrators to facilitate connectivity issue resolution
    • Ensure SLAs & Operational KPI are met
    • Work as necessary with internal and external support functions where major incidents occur.
    • Attending and contributing to team and project meetings
    • Contributing to the improvement or standard procedures and documentation

    • Must possess in-depth knowledge of Cisco, Forcepoint, F5 & Palo Alto configuration and strong troubleshooting skills.
