    Automation Engineer

    Role Overview 

    The Automation Engineer will be responsible for building, testing, and supporting automations on the Microsoft Power Platform. Working under the guidance of the Lead Automation Engineer and alongside the client stakeholders, they will transform mapped workflows into secure, efficient, and reusable solutions. Engineers are also expected to contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing to strengthen the team’s delivery capability. 

     Key Responsibilities 

    • Develop, test, and deploy defined automations per sprint based on pre-mapped workflows. 
    • Contribute to solution documentation, ensuring clarity for ongoing support and reusability. 
    • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, sharing learnings and technical approaches. 
    • Apply reusable components/templates wherever possible to maximize efficiency. 
    • Collaborate with stakeholders during UAT to validate solutions. 
    • Support troubleshooting, monitoring, and post-deployment improvements. 
    • Support citizen developers by contributing reusable templates, starter components, and technical assistance under defined governance. 

    Requirements

    Preferred Skills 

    • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform. 
    • JavaScript/TypeScript (custom functions, API integrations) 
    • C# / .NET (custom connectors, Azure Functions) 
    • SQL / T-SQL (Dataverse and database-driven automations) 
    • PowerShell (environment automation, admin tasks) 
    • Python (data transformation, advanced integrations) 
    • Experience collaborating with and training users.  
    • Strong problem-solving and testing skills. 
    • Ability to translate process diagrams into effective automations. 
    • Detail-oriented and eager to learn from senior team members.

    Senior Automation Engineer

    Role Overview 

    • The Senior Automation Engineer will lead the automation engineering team to build a Business Process Automation Center of Excellence (CoE). They will be both a hands-on builder and team lead, guiding the automation engineering team while also directly designing and delivering automation on the Microsoft Power Platform. They will work closely with the stakeholders who will facilitate agile ceremonies, while focusing on guiding technical delivery, mentoring engineers, and enforcing standards.  

     Key Responsibilities 

    • Lead the automation engineering team in delivering the targeted automations per month. 
    • Ensure a steady month-over-month delivery throughput.  
    • Provide technical oversight, design reviews, and mentoring to mid-level and Junior engineers. 
    • Translate pre-mapped workflows into secure, efficient automations using Microsoft Power Platform. 
    • Ensure automations comply with governance, security, and client standards. 
    • Collaborate with Scrum Master, business stakeholders, and field consultants to align delivery. 
    • Maintain and grow a reusable components library for faster delivery. 
    • Ensure proper documentation, enforce best practices, and promote knowledge sharing across the team. 
    • Enable and mentor citizen developers by setting guardrails, providing guidance, and reviewing solutions within a governed framework. 

    Requirements 

    • 5+ years of experience in workflow automation, with deep knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform. 
    • JavaScript/TypeScript (custom functions, API integrations) 
    • C# / .NET (custom connectors, Azure Functions) 
    • SQL / T-SQL (Dataverse and database-driven automations) 
    • PowerShell (environment automation, admin tasks) 
    • Python (data transformation, advanced integrations) 
    • Proven ability to lead teams and deliver at scale. 
    • Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and security best practices. 
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
