Key Requirements:

• Preparation of budget/preliminary cost estimate from preliminary drawings.
• Cost checks during detailed design to ensure budget conforms to design.
• Advising on design economies and financial implications of project proposals.
• Preparation and pricing of Bills of Quantities, detailed specifications, and schedule of materials & Labor.
• Cost monitoring & control during construction and forecasting potential financial implications.
• Preparation of periodic/interim valuations of work done.
• Monitoring materials requisition and consumption on site.
• Monitoring Labor schedules and sub-contractors’ bills and payments.
• Advising on the cost implications of any design changes.
• Preparation of project financial appraisals.
• Represent the company in meetings with the client and consultants.

Qualifications:

• A Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 2 years quantity surveying experience gained in a busy construction company.
• Must have worked for a contractor previously.
• Must be computer literate. Proficiency in Google suites will be an added advantage.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Must be capable of working on projects with very tight deadlines.
• Must be flexible to varying working hours.
• A mature individual with a high level of discretion and unquestionable integrity.

Key Requirements:

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the flower farm products and high-yield fruits.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, preferences, and market trends.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, traditional advertising, and promotions.
• Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals and objectives.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed to achieve targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and develop strategies to attract new customers.
• Stay updated with industry trends and competitors’ activities to maintain a competitive edge.
• Handle budgeting and allocate resources appropriately to achieve marketing objectives.

Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree preferably in Agri-Business.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in agri-business, preferably in a flower farm or high-yield fruit sector.
• Proficient in both English and Kiswahili, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proven track record of successful marketing strategies and achieving sales targets.
• Additional foreign language, export operations experience and SAP B1 module is an added advantage.
