    Pricing Executive

    Based in Nairobi and reporting to the Deputy Chief Commercial Officer EAREG, the overall purpose of the role is to prepare competitive quotes to ensure profitability. The specific deliverables will be to:-

    • Source for market rates and mark-up
    • Prepare quotations for the Commercial team
    • Follow up on the quotes sent to the Clients to ensure closure
    • Report on the success rate of the quotations on closure.
    • Profile requests
    • Seek appropriate levels of approval from Management and service departments
    • Review quotations to ensure alignment with the Client confirmations and internal process requirements
    • Source and maintain an updated data of contacts relevant to the compilation of quotation and avail them for common reference
    • Maintain an up to date record of proposals sent and their status as per approved database formats
    • Work with the Commercial Manager to support Freight Forwarding activities in conjunction with the HQ team to build competitive rates within carriers.
    • Follow through a customer support gap and create a strategy on organic growth and business continuity.
    • Support in market intelligence ie Identifying growing verticals
    • Work closely with projects and bid teams and assist in putting together proposals.
    • Provide periodic reports to all key stakeholders

    Profile

    • Diploma in Clearing & Forwarding or equivalent
    • Knowledge of the freight industry
    • Three years experience in a busy Logistics Company

    Business Development Manager

    Based in Nairobi and reporting to the Commercial manager-Kenya, the overall purpose of the role is to grow AGL market share and Gross Margin objectives with specific tasks as:-

    • Consolidate knowledge on customers
    • Act as AGL main entry point
    • Secure approved/preferred vendor status from Key account.
    • Consolidate and update customer knowledge (decision makers, influencers, volume potential, incumbents, industry challenges/opportunities, strategic expectations) and AGL performance.
    • Set Goals;
    • Develop AGL market share and profitability through customers operations across the network
    • Develop and implement the sales action plan by monitoring the dedicated sales team
    • Review AGL performance and quality indicators which have been contracted with customers
    • Build action plan
    • Plan and monitor growth with the dedicated network sales team aligned with customers flows.
    • Optimize sales awareness and development within network through CRM
    • Lead direct actions with identified customers interlocutors
    • Define operational and pricing procedures and exercise authority over agencies to have them applied
    • Plan monthly meetings to pilot growth and sales activities
    • Lead global tender
    • Lead global tenders and participate to sign-off with respective parties in operations
    • Design and present global tenders to customers with supporting AGL functions and expertise.
    • Call on corporate steering committee to arbitrate financial, sales or operational disputes linked to international contract management.
    • Develop business that does not exist today in the AGL portfolio.

    Profile

    • Business Degree
    • Diploma in Sales & Marketing or equivalent
    • MSK/CIM membershipi
    • Knowledge of the freight industry
    • Five years experience in logistics or FMCG industry

    Manager-Inbound Operations

    The overall purpose of this role is to organize and lead the sustainable and profitable execution of ANT Inbound Operations. Based in Nairobi and reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities: -

    • Lead the assigned operations team.
    • Manage the teams responsible for the operations as assigned.
    • Build the operational organization, the expertise, the means and ensure the standard operations process are in place to deliver the desired services.
    • Plan the efficient delivery of operational input to the clearance and handling of all orders for assigned customers.
    • Coordinate the actions of the various ANT operators in order to achieve efficient delivery of assigned shipments.
    • Monitor the quality of service provided to the Clients (internal and external) and take appropriate action to achieve the service and report accurately on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
    • Coordinate service delivery from approved suppliers.
    • File management.
    • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all ANT customer files physically and in all approved systems.
    • Ensure complete documentation of all ANT files and archiving as per set regulations for physical files as well as in EDOC.
    • Follow up and close out on customer queries.
    • Ensure all files are handled with utmost confidentiality and compliance with statutory requirements and Company policies.
    • Support credit control initiatives
    • Invoice Processing / Cost control
    • Receive invoices i.e. port, ex-warehouse, warehouse, accessory and transport invoices including ANT invoices
    • Verify and process invoices for approval based on the tariff cards or LPO in case of accessories with supporting documents.
    • Review and validate service invoices.
    • Logistics planning and tracking of all shipments
    • Alignment of the logistics planning in line with customers for all goods planned to arrive, under clearance, at the yards and bonded warehouses.

    Profile

    • Business Degree
    • Diploma in Clearing & Forwarding
    • Three (3) years' experience in a busy Logistics firm

    Manager-Outbound Operations

    Based in Nairobi and reporting to the General Manager ANT, the overall purpose of the role is to lead the GLC team in the operational execution of logistics at the GLC and for all CFAO linked operations with specific responsibilities to:-

    • Lead the assigned operations team at the GLC and all CFAO linked operations.
    • Daily management of the teams responsible for the operations as assigned at the GLC and CFAO linked operations.
