    Quantity Surveyor (Construction)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare, review, and administer tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, to align with JBC and FIDIC standards.
    • Conduct cost estimation, planning, and analysis for tender processes, offering strategic insights on cost-saving initiatives.
    • Oversee the evaluation of pricing for tenders, including preparation and analysis of costs, and provide advisory on contractual claims.
    • Develop clear and concise reports on current project activities, and monitor project budgets and timelines to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
    • Implement and enforce compliance with QSHE procedures, ensuring project adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards.
    • Coordinate resource allocation, schedule project phases, and facilitate efficient program management across multiple construction projects.
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of construction regulations, industry standards, and contract laws, with application of best practices in contract administration.
    • Advise on and evaluate project design modifications, assess feasibility of design and build options, and ensure high-quality delivery across all project stages.
    • Provide guidance on material selection, resource planning, and scheduling to optimize project timelines and budgets.

    Qualifications:

    • Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying.
    • Must have at least 5 years’ experience as a quantity surveyor in the construction sector.
    • Must have BORAQS and IQSK registration.
    • Mush have experience in Project Management with demonstrated leadership and ability to handle complex tasks and high-pressure situations.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or ArchiCAD.
    • Strong understanding of construction regulations and contract laws.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of standard specifications, cost control, and budget management.
    • Flexibility to travel and work in diverse environments and adaptable to culturally diverse environments.

    Senior Business Development Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Working in Business Development and/or Trading to pitch and present business and project ideas and progress, particularly in the food sector, to top management.
    • Sourcing, conducting, and preparing presentations for management’s consideration.
    • Generating new leads with the aim of enhancing existing business/investments strategy or the opportunity of identifying new business leads having deep researching and future-oriented insights.
    • Maintaining strategic partnership through timeous communication as well as meeting all needs and supportive requirements from respective business divisions as and when required.
    • Collecting and analyzing the market information and proposing necessary action.
    • Supporting business visitors and clients in terms of logistics.
    • Preparing necessary documents such as discussion paper with clients and tender documents
    • Negotiating about project documents with concerned parties
    • Supporting GM for overall business activities.
    • Supervise and develop team members to enhance the office’s work force.
    • Executing the contract related processes.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor degree in a relevant field. MBA would be advantageous.
    • At least 10 years of experience in food business. Other investment/trading experience where one can lead the whole process independently will also be considered.
    • Actual working experience in one or more companies in the food sector, particularly in the fields of trading, marketing, or supply chain management of food products. In addition, investment skills are preferred.
    • Knowledge of overall trade transaction, finance, accounting, credit management, logistics and basic legal affairs.
    • Strong track record of business-to-business business development at a corporate level.
    • Strong research and strategic analysis skills.
    • Excellent communication and reporting skills
    • Excellent organizational, numerical and analytical skills.
    • Good team working skills i.e., effectively interacting with colleagues in order to manage the total team workload whilst having the ability to work independently.
    • Advanced command of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
    • Willingness to travel/entertain clients/customers when required.
