    Junior Receptionist

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the reception desk, assisting Hiring Consultants with day-to-day admin tasks and help grow the business. The successful candidate MUST have excellent English (verbal and written), be engaging, friendly, full of energy and bubbly and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales or a customer facing role.

    Duties

    • Support the reception desk by welcoming candidates and clients, explaining assessments to candidates and other delegated admin tasks.
    • Prospecting for business and partnerships.
    • Communicate regularly with clients to maintain good relations and understand client requirements.
    • Help source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline.
    • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications.
    • Develop job postings, job descriptions, position requirements and perform reference checks as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Must have a degree (preferably in Marketing, Sales or Social Sciences).
    • Must be engaging, friendly, energetic and bubbly.
    • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales or customer service.
    • Must have impeccable communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and planning skills.
    • Self-driven, focused and goal oriented.
    • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Head of Commercial

    The successful candidate, will lead the sales and distribution strategy across global markets. Based in the Nairobi headquarters, this senior leadership role will drive revenue growth, expand market penetration, and strengthen partnerships with tour operators, travel agents, and direct clients worldwide. International experience is an added advantage.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies to maximize revenue across all properties
    • Lead sales efforts across key global source markets including North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and emerging markets
    • Identify new market opportunities and develop market entry strategies
    • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with international tour operators, destination management companies, and travel consortiums
    • Negotiate and manage contracts with key distribution partners and online travel agencies
    • Oversee participation in international travel trade shows and industry events
    • Lead and mentor the commercial team including sales managers, business development executives, and marketing coordinators
    • Collaborate closely with revenue management, marketing, and operations teams
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
    • Analyze booking patterns, source market performance, and customer segments
    • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management

     Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field
    • MBA or advanced business qualification preferred
    • Minimum 8-10 years of senior commercial experience in luxury hospitality, preferably with safari/adventure travel focus
    • Proven track record in international sales and distribution of hospitality properties
    • Experience managing teams and P&L responsibility
    • Strong background in working with tour operators, travel agents, and distribution partners across multiple markets
    • Deep understanding of global travel distribution systems and booking platforms
    • Strong knowledge of African safari market dynamics and customer segments
    • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
    • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans
    • Strong analytical skills and experience with revenue management systems
    • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively across diverse markets
