    Warehouse Officer

    Position Summary

    Joining Nestlé means you are joining the largest food and Beverage Company in the world.  At our very core, we are a human company driven by our purpose to enhance the quality of life and contribute to a healthier future.  Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor you will ensure receipt of materials in the right quantity, quality and at the right time and ensure that the pipeline bins are fed to facilitate put away.

    A day in the life of…

    • Assisting Warehouse Supervisor in warehouse activities taking into consideration the Quality Monitoring system
    • Ensuring good hygienic conditions of the warehouse and its environs in accordance with Safety and Quality Management Systems
    • Ensuring that goods delivered to the company are exactly according to the order by checking their quality, quantity and condition on arrival
    • Controlling the dispatch of goods by ensuring that only released and dully authorized goods are dispatched from the Warehouse
    • Ensuring safe storage of raw, packaging, semi-finished, finished materials and all other items in the warehouse by spot checks, good housekeeping and identification of unsafe conditions and working methods
    • Providing reliable information to management at any point in time on stocks and conditions of goods in the warehouse by establishing, maintaining and updating accurate records of stocks, issues and dispatches
    • Lead the team, including 3rd Parties to achieve set objectives (Cost, Efficiency & Compliance)
    • Ensure stock quantity is always aligned and accurate through timely Goods receipt, put away, and Cycle stock count

    What will make you successful

    • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience
    • Detailed analytical skills and attention to details
    • Conversant with computers (.e.g. SAP & MS Office Suite)
