Tweak your resume to match any job

CV Pilot takes your CV and one job advert, rewrites the CV for that job and writes the cover letter to go with it. You read it, change anything you want, then download the PDF.

Match your CV to the job description.

Before it writes anything, CV Pilot scores how well your CV matches the job. If the match is 35 percent or less it stops and says so, explains what is missing, and suggests the kinds of roles worth applying for instead.

That check costs you nothing. No CV is used up on a job you were never going to get.

3 CV Pilot Steps

1

Give it your CV and the job

Upload a PDF or a Word file, or pick a CV you have already uploaded to MyJobMag. Then paste the job description or give the link to it.

2

Change what you want changed

Every part of the CV opens for editing. Type over it yourself, or tell the AI what to change for one role or for the whole CV.

3

Pick a template and download

Classic, Basic or Milano. Download the PDF, then download the same CV again in another template at no extra cost. The cover letter downloads as a PDF too.

Built for people who are actually applying for jobs

CV Pilot is especially useful if:

1

You're applying for lots of jobs.

You don't want to spend an hour tailoring every CV.

2

You're qualified, but your CV feels too generic.

You know you can do the job. You just need your relevant experience to stand out.

3

You're applying for different types of roles.

Your experience may need to be presented differently depending on the role.

4

You're not sure whether a job is worth applying for.

Check your match for free before spending time on the application.

What's the difference?

You can tailor every CV yourself. You can also ask a generic AI tool to rewrite one. But how much work is actually left for you?

AI tweaks your CV and you review.

Most tools hand you a finished file and hope you send it. CV Pilot opens the result in an editor and shows you exactly what it did to your CV.

Edit any section by hand

Summary, every role, education, skills, certifications, languages and referees. Type straight into it. No credit is used and there is no limit on how much you edit.

Or tell the AI what to change

Ask for one role to be shorter, or for the whole CV to lean on different work. 10 AI adjustments are included with every CV.

See what it changed

Every CV comes with a plain list of what CV Pilot did, so you are never guessing which parts are yours and which parts are new.

Download as many times as you like

Edit, download, edit again, download again. Downloads do not cost extra, and neither does trying the same CV in another template.

It rewrites wording. It does not invent facts.

CV Pilot will never change your employers, job titles, dates, schools or qualifications. That is not a promise printed on a sales page, it is a rule written into the product: the wording of your experience can be sharpened, the facts behind it cannot be touched.

Every CV you make stays in your account.

Your latest 20 CVs are kept, plus up to 5 you pin so they are never replaced. Open an old one, reuse it as the starting point for the next job, and download it again whenever you need it.

Your MyJobMag profile is left exactly as it was. CV Pilot never writes to it.

Questions

Can I use it for jobs I found on other sites?
Yes. Paste the job description into the box and it works for any job anywhere. You can also give a link instead: links work for MyJobMag jobs, and for jobs on other sites that publish a standard job listing.
What kind of CV file can I give it?
A PDF or a Word .docx file. You can also choose a CV you have already uploaded to MyJobMag, or a CV you made earlier with CV Pilot.
What happens if I am not really qualified for the job?
CV Pilot tells you. It scores the match first, and if it is 35 percent or less it stops, explains what the job is asking for that your CV does not show, and suggests the kinds of roles to look at instead. That check is free and does not use one of your CVs.
Can I edit what the AI wrote?
Yes, and you should. The result opens in an editor where every section can be typed over by hand, as often as you like. You can also tell the AI what to change, for one role or for the whole CV, and 10 of those adjustments are included with every CV.
Does it change my MyJobMag profile?
No. CV Pilot only makes new CVs. Your MyJobMag profile and the CV you have uploaded there stay exactly as they are.
Do I need an account?
Yes, a MyJobMag jobseeker account. It is free to open and you will need it to apply for jobs here anyway.
Which countries is it available in?
MyJobMag runs in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa and the United Kingdom. CV Pilot is available on the MyJobMag sites that show a price for it, and you pay in that site's currency. It is not available on MyJobMag Ghana yet.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The editor was built for a phone first, so you can tailor a CV, adjust it and download the PDF without opening a laptop.

Your next application deserves its own CV.

Give CV Pilot the job advert. Read what it wrote, change what you want, download the PDF.
