Job & Person Specification:
The incumbent will work within the Senior Management/Leadership Team to support the Headmaster in the effective running and development of the school. S/He will deputise for the Headmaster and will report directly to the Headmaster.
With the support of the Head of Junior School, s/he will take overall responsibility for the pastoral care, welfare, safety and personal development of every child, ensuring that every child is known, nurtured and supported to allow them to thrive.
The following outline gives an overall range of duties and responsibilities but is not exhaustive and the Director of Pastoral Care may be required to undertake such other duties appropriate to the post, as the Headmaster or Governing Body may reasonably require.
