We are looking for an excellent Draftsman to be based in Kenya, with Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related technical discipline. 5 years + technical drawing office experience with excellent ability to operate within a design development process, understanding drawing and construction stages. Familiarity with the application of international design standards, BS, EU and US. Excellence in 2D and 3D AutoCAD Good experience in TEKLA modelling desirable Excellent inter-personal skills, spoken and written. Site experience valuable. Excellent in MS Word, Excel and PPT.

• Work with the Engineering, Project and Bid teams to produce technical / engineering drawings, fit for purpose.
• Produce drawings to internationally recognized design and drafting standards. 2D and full 3D CAD required.
• Accurate / error-free translation, reproduction and development of drawings from multiple sources, including Tekla, STAAD and hand sketches etc required.
• Identification of interface issues required with actions to resolve.
• Understanding of international building design codes.
• Ability to accurately generate BoQs and develop CAD databases.
