Quantity Surveyor at RA International

We are looking for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor, to be based in Kenya with Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field. Minimum of 5 years experience in cost management of multiple complex projects or programmes. Familiar with using MS Project Excellent MS Excel, MS Word, PPT skills. ERP familiarity. 

Selected candidate must be able to:

•  To maintain and report on accurate project costs and financial performance of projects. 
•  Work closely with the bid/proposal team in the initial stages and with the project implementation team/engineering team when the project becomes live. 
• Engage with the management team, procurement team, engineering team and human resources team as well as vendors/manufacturers.
• Evaluate the civil technical requirements of solicitations and provide accurate electrical take offs.
• Prepare detailed BOQ's for submission to the procurement department.
• Provide detailed and accurate civil designs and estimations.
• Provide and compile detailed supporting design documentation, specifications, design assumptions and designload calculations.
