Estimating Mechanical Engineer at RA International

We currently looking for a Estimating Mechanical Engineer, to be based in Nairobi Kenya. With Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 10 years’ experience in mechanical and building services engineering design within multi-disciplinary construction, including HVAC, utilities piping, tanks, vessels and building services. International site engineering experience highly beneficial. Preferably professionally qualified / Chartered Mechanical Engineer. Familiar with using relevant mechanical / pipe / vessel / pump / HVAC / Building services design software. AutoCAD / Revit. Excellent MS Excel, MS Word, PPT skills. Expert with BS and EU codes.

Selected candidate must be able to:

• The Estimating Mechanical Engineer’s primary function is to undertake detailed mechanical and building services engineering designs and cost estimates for projects and bids.
• Project design work will include developing concept designs and detailed engineering designs and drawings suitable for construction, with all supporting engineering calculations.
• Provide rapid and accurate support to construction teams will be necessary as will site attendance.
• Multi-disciplinary engineering coordination is required.
