Head of Construction at RA International

Are you a professionally qualified Civil Engineer with 10+ years experience in the management and delivery of a diverse range of multi-disciplinary construction projects and looking for a new challenge?

If so, RA International is looking to hire a talented Head of Construction to be based in Nairobi.

As a Head of Construction you will be assuming full responsibility for all aspects of design and construction activities for RA’s infrastructure project portfolio delivery, including support for tendering, preparation of detailed designs, implementation planning and full oversight and leadership of construction activities.

Our ideal candidate must have experience in the preparation of bills of quantity, drawings, schedules, quality, risk, change and budgetary control. He/she must be fluent in English and be able to:

• Assume full control of infrastructure project budgets, through the full project lifecycle, maintaining reporting and performance visibility through company reporting channels.
• Ensure that all engineering projects, initiatives and processes are in full conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives and where appropriate, lead the continued development of those policies.
• Maintaining stakeholder relationships and manage contracts commercially
• Provide technical / Engineering leadership, manage project risks and enhance the company reputation through delivery excellence.
• Provide support to new business development, as well as successfully implement projects in hand.
