Assistant Director Water and Sanitation at Kilifi County Public Service Board

Duties and responsibilities

This Officer will report to the Director, Water & Sanitation. Specific duties will entail;

• Develop and implement policies, goals and objectives
• Supervise the development of water infrastructure development and resource mobilization plans
• Implement Departmental performance management systems
• Supervise research for the Department of water and sanitation including management of related information and data
• Undertake quality control during construction of water supply infrastructure
• Development and maintenance of County water and sewerage infrastructure
• Mobilization of resources for development of water and sewerage infrastructure in the County

Requirements for appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must;

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering/Water Resources, Hydrology or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University
• Have relevant working experience of not less than (10) years
• Be registered with a relevant professional body
• Demonstrate merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010
