Assistant Manager Safety, Security & Investigation at Rafiki Microfinance Bank

Purpose of the Job:

• Responsible for security of staff, assets, and Occupational health and safety (OSHA).

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of bank’s safety and security strategy and policy
• Drive security operational excellence through continuous development and improvement of security policy based on regulations and business needs.
• Ensure bank compliance to OSH Act 2007 including any amendments and other security and safety regulatory framework.
• Develop training programs, train staff on pro-activeness in identifying security, safety exposures and other security related training programs.
• Security systems management (CCTV, Intruder alarm, Mantrap, Vaults).
• Oversee and manage a network of security staff both from private security contractors and government (armed guards).
• Proactively collect intelligence for security/safety of bank assets and mitigation of security incidents.
• Ensure all security records, files, internal and external correspondences are well maintained.
• Manage upto date departmental diary.
• Provide CIT monitoring support
• Any other official duty that may be assigned from time to time  

Key Competencies, Skills, Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors’ degree in Security management
• 5-6 years Working experience in a banking institution
• Licensed private security regulatory authority certification
• Good understanding of the relevant regulatory framework
