This is a full-time on-site Business Development Intern role located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Business Development Intern will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as lead generation, market research, and customer service. The intern will work closely with the Business Development Manager to grow the organization, identify new opportunities to increase sales, tender and proposal preparation and develop relationships with existing customers. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn and develop key skills in business development and consulting.
Qualifications
At least 3 years experience in business development/Marketing/sales.
Excellent analytical skills to identify new business opportunities and develop a sales strategy
Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members
Lead generation experience to identify and develop new business opportunities
Market research skills to analyze market trends and develop business strategies
Customer service skills to provide exceptional customer service to existing customers
Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is a plus
