About the job

• Experience : Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in sales and marketing roles, preferably in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.
• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Role:

• Develop a deep understanding of QMP's strategic and value creation plans, with a specific focus on sales initiatives.
• Create and implement a strategic sales plan for HON, supermarkets, foodservice/HORECA, and other sales channels, aligned with QMP's long-term objectives.
• Lead the existing sales team, including retail and merchandizing teams, to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Identify and prospect for new potential markets, including fast-food outlets, trolley sales, smokie vendors, and similar outlets.
• Lead the Project Management Office (PMO) to coordinate and support the implementation of value creation initiatives and other business projects.
• Translate corporate objectives into business plans and budgets, manage plan execution across departments, and build superior working relationships to drive performance.

• Knowledge of the Kenyan market and the meat industry would be advantageous
