    Digital Content and Communications Intern

    Your Tasks and Responsibilities;

    Content Strategy & Creation:

    • Develop and produce high-quality, brand-aligned written and visual content, including website copy, blog posts, social media content, articles, press releases, publications, and presentations.
    • Tailor content for diverse online platforms and target audiences, highlighting the specific advantages of each subsidiary.
    • Lead the development of comprehensive biannual publications for individual entities and the group.

    Social Media Management:

    • Strategically manage and grow the group's social media presence, including content scheduling, community engagement, and proactive monitoring of conversations.

    Public Relations Support:

    • Contribute to the planning and execution of PR campaigns, including drafting press materials and assisting with media outreach.

    Website Content Management:

    • Collaborate with the web development team to ensure seamless and effective content integration and presentation on the website.
    • Maintain and update website content for accuracy and relevance.

    Content Quality & Consistency:

    • Proofread and edit all content to ensure impeccable grammar, clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.

    Online Reputation Management:

    • Monitor online mentions of the group and its subsidiaries, contributing to strategies for managing and enhancing online reputation.
    • Address online inquiries and engage with online communities in a timely and professional manner.

    Performance Analysis & Reporting:

    • Track, analyse, and report on content performance and website/social media analytics to identify trends and optimize strategies.

    Trend Awareness:

    • Stay abreast of the latest digital content, social media, and digital marketing trends and best practices.

     

    Brand Guardianship:

    • Ensure all communications consistently reflect and reinforce the brand identity andmessaging.

    Technical Proficiencies:

    • Proficiency in managing and publishing content using one or more CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
    • Experience using social media management and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer).
    • Familiarity with social media analytics dashboards and reporting features.
    • Working knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track content performance and user behavior.
    • Ability to interpret data and generate basic reports on key metrics.
    • Basic proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator) for creating visual content.
    • Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., iMovie, Adobe Premiere Pro) for basic video production.
    • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) for newsletter creation and distribution.
    • SEO Fundamentals: Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles and best practices for content creation.
    • Experience with project management or collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Trello,Monday.com).

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • Bachelor Degree in IT/Computer science/ Public Relations or related field.
    • Be a person who is honest, trust worthy with high integrity.
    • Accuracy and attentive to detail.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
