Requirements for Appointment

• Diploma in Urban Planning or Regional development or Cartography and Geomatic information;
• Certificate in GIS; and
• Certificate in Computer applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Checking authenticity and clarity of map sheets prior to publication;
• Provide technical support for charting and mapping requirements of all County Departments;
• Check instrumental plots;
• Carry out regular maintenance of cartographic and photometric instruments;
• By use of ICT, digitalize maps as required by departments and other county stakeholders; and
• Being custodian of all maps and topo-sheets at the county level.
