Echocardiography Technician at M.P. Shah Hospital

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Senior echo tech able to perform contrast echo, stress echo with different modalities, reporting transthoracic echo (Normal) under supervision of cardiologist.
2. Assisting in TEE.
3. Should be able to work on GE (T8 and E95) in branches of MP Shah hospital
4. On-call for Echo and other cardiac examinations 24/7
5. Gather patient medical history and maintain a file with all the records, reports and images
6. Explain the testing procedures and report findings to patients
7. Obesrve findings and and generate reports in a pre-difned formt available in the Cardiac unit.
8. Responsible for safeguarding Echo equipments in the hospital and maintain the medical supplies/
   consumables.
9. Perform other relevant duties as shall be assigned by the In-charge Cardiologist.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Diploma in Radiography/Diploma in radiography with Higher Diploma in echocardiography from a reputable university or college.
2. Registration with the relevant professional society
3. Through understanding of the principles of echocardiography
4. Must have a valid membership and hold a valid practicing license in the relevant field.
5. Minimum of 5 years working experience.
