The Facilities Officer will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities, contributing to the overall success of Phoenix Aviation Limited.
FACILITIES OFFICER
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and maintain company's estate or operational area.
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for maintenance and repair work.
Supervise the staff at the facility or coordinate any third-party service providers that the organization might use to maintain the property.
Ensure that the buildings and surrounding areas are safe for the organization’s staff and meet all necessary health and safety standards and that all assets consistently meet building regulations.
Manage a monthly or annual budget for the maintenance team(s) and the various tasks they complete and handle all bookings and payments for third-party services with emphasis that the maintenance team(s) completes work cost-effectively.
To take care of the buildings, grounds and maintain them regularly, including specific departments, parking areas and specialized equipment.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and related documentation.
Assist in planning and executing facility improvement projects.
Respond to emergencies and urgent facility issues as they arise.
Essential Requirements
KCSE-level certificate, diploma in a relevant field.
Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
