Food and Beverage Production, Sales and Service Management Trainer at Kenyaplex Institute of Technology

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs for students enrolled in our food and beverage production, sales, and service management program.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop training materials, including lesson plans, quizzes, and assessments
• Deliver training to students in a classroom setting, using a variety of teaching methods to engage students and meet diverse learning needs
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments and trends, ensuring that training materials and methods are current and relevant
• Collaborate with other instructors and department heads to align training with program goals and objectives
• Attend departmental and institutional meetings as required

Qualifications:

• A Diploma in Food and Beverage Production, Sales and Service Management or Diploma in Catering and Accommodation Management or related field
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in food and beverage production, sales, and service management
• Proven experience as a trainer or teacher in a vocational or higher education setting
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to design and deliver engaging and effective training materials
• Knowledge of current industry trends and best practices
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
