    Analyst, Development Impact

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ROLE REQUIREMENTS
    Data Collation

    • Maintain FSD Africa’s system for efficiently collecting, storing, compiling, aggregating and analysing programme data to enable comprehensive measurement of progress & impact

    Data Analysis

    • Perform multi-level quantitative and qualitative data analysis and synthesis to support decision making by FSD Africa program and project managers

    Reporting

    • Present data analysis findings in user friendly, online and visualised formats to support evidence-based decision making and learning

    System Maintenance and Improvement

    • Perform technical reviews and system enhancement support to the FSD Africa data management system to ensure that it facilitates seamless data mining, aggregation and other data functions

    PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
    Qualifications and Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business computing, Information Technology, Computer Science or any other related field.
    • Professional training and/or certification in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning is an added advantage

    Essential Experience, Knowledge and Skills

    • 3 years’ post-graduation experience of monitoring and evaluation of donor funded programs
    • Proven experience and proficiency in data management information systems,
    • Proven experience in working with dashboarding tools such as Power BI, Tableau,etc
    • Good knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods
    • Good numerical, analytical and data administration skills
    • Excellent skills in written and spoken English

    Desirable

    • Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment
    • Knowledge of data science and statistical computing techniques
    • Knowledge of donor policies, procedures and terminologies
    • Previous experience of working in DFID/FCDO-funded projects
