Responsibility Under the supervision of the Head of Production, the incumbent will design and layout the publications, collaterals, and branding materials for the World Cities Report 2024.
Expected Outputs and Deliverables: The list of deliverables includes the design and layout of the World Cities Report 2024 and various collaterals included below:
Design and layout of 5 chapters of the World Cities Report including from matter.
Design of the key message booklet, postcard, executive summary, and other collaterals for the report in English.
Layout of the key message booklet, executive summary, and other collaterals for the report in Arabic and other UN languages.
Qualifications/special skills
Bachelor’s degree in visual communications, graphic design, or related field is required.
5 years of relevant experience in graphic design including print, exhibition, mobile, web and data visualization is required.
Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator as well as 3D software such as SketchUp is required.
Ability to produce appealing visuals from complex data is desirable.
Detail-oriented, creative, ability to multi-task and work efficiently under tight deadlines is desirable. Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment is desirable.
