Job Purpose​​​​​​​

The purpose of the job is to ensure that the Agency leverages on Information Technology to deliver its mandate. The job holder will be answerable to senior officers in the division.

Job Specifications

Duties and responsibilities at this level entail:-

• Analysing, designing and testing ICT applications;
• Providing user support;
• Preparing training materials on how to operate ICT system and infrastructure;
• Training users on ICT system and infrastructure;
• Repairing and maintaining ICT system and infrastructure;
• Monitoring performance of ICT equipment; and
• Reporting any faults for further action.

Person specification​​​​​​​

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-

• Cumulative service period of three (3) years’ work experience in the grade of ICT Assistant III or in a comparable position;
• Diploma in any of the following fields: Computer Science, ICT, IT, ICT Systems Support, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering & Maintenance, Computer Networking, Software Development, Business Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
