    IT Support/Systems Administrator

    Responsbilities

    • Install, configure, and maintain all company computer hardware, operating system software, and local network systems.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues across desktops, laptops, printers, and core servers.
    • Provide timely technical support to end-users by identifying, analyzing, and resolving all IT-related problems.
    • Ensure the security of IT systems through routine data backup procedures, antivirus protection management, and strict user access controls.
    • Monitor and manage network infrastructure, including core devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
    • Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security standards across the organization to maintain compliance.
    • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and solutions to continuously improve overall operational efficiency.
    • Collaborate effectively with other departments to accurately assess and address their specific IT needs and requirements.
    • Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, major migrations, and new infrastructure installations.
    • Document all IT systems, configurations, and standard operating procedures for knowledge sharing and training purposes.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
    • Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, MCSA, or Cisco CCNA are a distinct advantage.
    • Proven experience in IT support, system administration, or network management.
    • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and common business applications.
    • Demonstrated experience managing network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
    • Familiarity with IT security principles, antivirus systems, and data backup solutions.
    • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively support end-users.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet deadlines.
    • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail in all IT operations.
