Maintenance Officer at Shamberere Technical Training Institute

Responsibilities

1. Supervision of subordinate staff and casuals hired by the college
2. Ensure proper maintenance of inventory, tools, and equipment issued to workers
3. Raise requisition for repairs and maintenance of college property and infrastructure
4. Maintain and update the master roll-on daily basis
5. Report to the Principal or authorized persons the performance of the subordinate staff
6. Any other duties as assigned by the Principal /higher authority

Qualifications

1. Diploma in either Building Technology/Construction, Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Water Engineering
2. Must have experience in the relevant field for at least one (1) year
3. Certification by a professional body will be an added advantage.

Other Requirements

Must be computer literate
