Duties and Responsibilities

• Removal of the deceased from place of death.
• Receiving of bodies and tagging for proper identification.
• Escort mourners to funeral chapels.
• Organize the reception after service.

Requirement for appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -

• Kenya certificate of secondary school.
•  (1) One-year work experience in funeral establishment.
•  Be a member of registered funeral professional association.
• Must be attended (3) three months training in embalming, mortuary science or funeral service education in a recognized institution.
• Computer skill certificate.
