Office Assistant - Mtwapa - 3 Posts at Kenya Medical Research - KEMRI

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage sign-in sheets, appointment logs, and visit or records
• Handle inquiries in person, via phone, or email, and direct them appropriately
• Assist in printing, photocopying, and organizing trial-related forms or documents
• Assist in distributing internal communications, meeting notices, or updates
• Maintain logs for participant visits, courier shipments, and general office supplies.
• Issue visitor badges and maintain security logs as required
• Assist in coordinating refreshments or logistics for study meetings or training sessions
• Cleaning of offices and compound
• Recording and dispatching letters, files and documents
• Coordinate participant transport reimbursement and keep meticulous records
• Planting, weeding and pruning/mowing gardens
• Collecting, assembling and disposing of waste
• Any other office work that may arise

Vacancy Requirements:

• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education Mean Grade D or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;    Mandatory
• Proficiency in computer application; and    Mandatory
• Organizational skills;    Mandatory
• Public Relations skills    Mandatory
• Communication skills in both English and Kiswahili    Mandatory
• Interpersonal skills    Mandatory
