Preparation of the LPO and placing orders for goods and services to ensure that suppliers deliver within the agreed lead time
Assist in the procurement process by collecting and organizing procurement requests from various departments.
Coordinate with suppliers/vendors to obtain quotes, product information, and delivery timelines for review by the Procurement Officer.
Assist in maintaining procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier/vendor information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Prepare purchase orders and other procurement documents accurately and in a timely manner,2under the guidance of the Procurement Officer.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in tracking stock movements, ensuring adequate stock levels are2maintained to meet operational needs.
Assist in the preparation of procurement reports and presentations for management review,2providing insights and recommendations as needed.
Support in resolving procurement-related issues, such as discrepancies in deliveries or invoices, by2liaising with suppliers/vendors and internal stakeholders.
Provide administrative support to the Procurement Officer, including scheduling meetings, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, and maintaining departmental files and records.
Any other duties as might be assigned from time to time.
Professional Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement or any business-related field
Minimum two (2) years of experience in the procurement or supply chain field.
Professional qualifications in Purchases and supplies are desirable, preferably from Chartered
Institute of Purchasing and Supplies (CIPS) or equivalent certification.
Experience in application of procurement software will be an added advantage
