Develop and execute procurement strategies for construction and road works projects in line with project plans and budgets.
Source and prequalify suppliers, contractors, and service providers specific to civil works, road construction materials (e.g., bitumen, aggregates), and heavy plant/machinery.
Prepare and issue RFQs, analyze bids, and negotiate with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with technical specifications.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to prevent project delays.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain relationships to ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain an updated procurement database, including approved vendors, contracts, delivery schedules, and inventory records.
Work closely with project managers, site engineers, and finance to align procurement with work schedules and cash flow plans.
