    Production Team Leader

    • As a Production Team Leader at Mars Snacking, you will play a critical, hands-on management role leading shift Associates and contractors (50+) to deliver all appropriate standards for the shift. You will facilitate, coordinate, prioritize, and communicate operational activities to achieve the KPIs relevant to your assigned area. Your leadership will foster a high level of team engagement and ensure operational excellence.

    What are we looking for?

    • Ideally, you will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology, Science, Engineering, or an equivalent from a recognized university.
    • You should have at least 4 years of total business experience in a busy Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment.
    • We are looking for someone who has comprehensive knowledge and understanding of people relations skills, principles, and team-building processes, along with excellent communication abilities.
    • You will need to have previous supervisory experience and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals and teams at all levels.

    What will be your key responsibilities?

    • Lead FMOS, PPM & Datalyzer to measure KPIs related to safety, quality/food safety, cost, and customer service.
    • Conduct shift handover meetings and facilitate communication of operational issues.
    • Collaborate with Quality & Food Safety, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure consistent productivity and reliability.
    • Promote and drive LEAN principles, supporting continuous improvement activities through the KAIZEN program.
    • Manage the performance of shift Associates, coordinating training and development programs.
    • Oversee the operations of the engineering parts store and ensure proper documentation.
    • Create a sustainable culture of Supply Excellence, Collaboration, and Associate Engagement across your team.
