Duties
The incumbent manages computerized inventories within the Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS) of all U.S. Government-owned accountable property under the control of the General Services Office (GSO). S/he plans, coordinates, and conducts physical residential check-in/check-out inventories, annual inventory, and periodic inspections of personal property valued more than $18 million, including motor vehicles, office and maintenance supplies, furniture, furnishings, heritage assets, representational glassware/tableware, equipment, and appliances at various locations. S/he generates inventory files and reports for over 170 residences, two official residences, offices, and stock locations. This is a non-supervisory position, and incumbent reports directly to the Property Management Supervisor (FSN-09). Incumbent serves as an incidental operator of official vehicles and meets all requirements outlined in 14 FAM 433.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three (3) years prior work experience in inventory control & management, warehouse operations, or property management is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must have a basic knowledge of the work environment and be able to understand how business is conducted locally and how to interact with vendors/contractors.
Education Requirements:
Completion of High School is required.
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Level III - working knowledge (written/spoken, and at least one (1) of the Ghanaian local languages is required
