Research Assistant, Qualitative Gender Research- ICRISAT at World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF)

Under the guidance of scientists, this role is an implementation role: implementing Qualitative Gender Research in ICRISAT ESA region including:

• Managing partnerships with the national implementing partners and other collaborators involved in qualitative gender research,
• Literature review on qualitative research state of the art publications in the relevant sectors,
• monitoring of qualitative field activities and their implementation,
• planning and executing qualitative data collection in the field,
• collating and organizing qualitative data for analysis as well as analysis implementation,
• In consultation with the team leader, drafting of reports based on qualitative data compilations and
• Any other assignments that the team leader or the Regional Director may assign from time to time.

Requirements

• Masters in Anthropology, social science.
• 1-year experience in a similar role.
• Skills in sociology, anthropology, research methods, gender theory. Competencies in field work implementation, field tools design, data collection, field data management, reports compilation.
