Job Specifications

• Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology or related field.
• Candidates who will have completed their undergraduate course and will be awaiting graduation can apply.
• Computer programming experience in either Python, C/C++, or R is desirable. The candidate’s CV should include a link to an online repository containing coding samples (eg. GitHub)
• The candidates must have a keen interest in developing machine learning and internet of things (IoT) applications in areas such as health, agriculture and environmental conservation.
• Prior experience in developing machine learning, IoT or related applications is desirable.
• Experience with electrical hardware design and electronic design automation software is desirable.
• The interns will be engaged for six months initially after which those with outstanding performance will be considered for contract renewal.

Responsibilities

• Research Interns shall be expected to work for 40 hours per week on average. Specific duties are as follows;
• Investigate machine learning methods for various applications
• Design and fabricate IoT devices for data collection
• Develop data collection pipelines for IoT applications
• Produce technical reports on tasks performed
• Any other duty that may be assigned by an authorized officer.
